On overnight road trips the cheerleaders were usually put up two to a room but since we had an odd number this trip one room, mine, got three. I got the cot. In one sense the overnight trips were a lot of fun we got to travel to a new place, eat free food, and stay in a hotel. On the other hand the school was very strict and our coach was a stickler for enforcement. This meant we couldn’t do things we’d normally do on Friday nights stay up late, drink, and have sex
But we did manage to have some fun
